A bit of shopping #4...

De Meisjes zijn altijd vrij op vrijdag.
Mijn Lief had een vrije dag.
Mooi.
Had ik weer eens de kans om effe alleen op het fietsje naar
de weekmarkt in Maastricht te gaan...
The Girls are always off school on Friday.
My Love had a day off work.
Perfect.
For me a chance to get on my bike and visit the weekly market
in Maastricht...

Op de markt kocht ik fijne stofjes...
I bought some pretty fabrics at the market...

...voor het maken van een nieuwe serie van deze rokjes...
...to make a new set of these skirts...

...want nadat ik deze rokjes meenam naar school afgelopen week,
verkocht ik ze allemaal!...en er is vraag naar meer, vooral roze ;-)
...because when i took these skirts with me to school last week,
i sold them all!...and there's demand for more, especially pink ;-)

Ik kocht nog mooie kleurtjes borduurgaren om mee te haken...
I bought some pretty colours of embroidery yarn to crochet with...

Op de terugweg langs de Kringloop, die tot mijn grote verbazing
bijna leeg was!...ze gaan verhuizen en waren vandaag voor het laatst open
op deze locatie :-o
Daarom op alles 90% korting en zo kocht ik twee kastjes voor 1 euro
en deze stapel schattige bordjes voor 60 cent!...
On my way back a quick visit to the Thriftstore, which was almost
empty to my surprise!...they're  gonna to move to another place
and it was the last openingday today at this location :-o
Therefor 90% discount on everything and so i bought two
nightstands for 1 Euro and this pile of cute plates for 60 cents!...

De nachtkastjes worden nog voorzien van een verflaag en mooie
knopjes en zijn gereserveerd voor de Meisjes.
The nightstands will be get a layer of paint and pretty knobs and 
are reserved for the Girls.

Ook kocht ik laatst deze mooie punnikdoosjes, om de Meisjes te leren
punniken voordat ik ze ga leren haken...
I also bought these spoolknitting boxes lately, to learn the Girls this before i
learn them to crochet...

Bij de drogist vond ik dit eiershaaltje, roze en lekker fout...
At the drugstore i found this eggtray, pink and a bit wrong...

Ik ben blij dat het voorjaar is (wie niet?)
Het donkere en koude van de winter is best knus, maar het
moet niet te lang duren.
Geef mij maar blauwe lucht, zonnetje, niet te warm, niet te koud,
de heerlijke geur en de knopjes in de bomen.
Geef mij maar licht, fris, kleurig, opgeruimd en lente achtig...
I'm so happy it's Spring (who is not?)

Maandag...Monday...

Daar is ie weer. De Maandag.
En het is een beetje moeilijk ;-)
Na drie dagen genieten aan de Zeeuwse kust met prachtig weer én
een uurtje minder op de klok (joepie! zomertijd!) is het maar lastig
om op gang te komen...

There he is again. Monday.
And it feels a bit difficult ;-)
After three days enjoying at the 'Zeeuwse' coast with beautiful weather
and one hour missing on the clock (yes! summertime!) it is hard
to start the day...

Maar dat komt wel goed.
Rustig aan en met veel koffie...
But i will be allright. 
Just keep calm and with lots of coffee...

...en een beetje hulp bij het doen van de enorme berg wasgoed...
(en het tellen ons geld)
...and a little bit of help with doing that big pile of laundry...

Woensdagmiddag...Wednesday afternoon...

Vandaag was een echte Lente dag...
Ik voel het overal!
En oh, oh wat voelt het goed!
Ik krijg zin in schoon, fris, licht en opgeruimd.
En niet alleen binnen, maar ook buiten.
Today was a real Spring day...
I feel it everywhere!
And my oh my, it feels good!
I want everything to be clean, fresh, light and ordered.
Not only in the house, but also outside.

De meisjes zijn vrij op woensdag middag en ik bedacht dat onze
kleine tuin, die we vorig jaar helemaal hebben leeggemaakt,
wel een oppepper kon gebruiken.
Nadat ik ze 's morgens alle drie de Meisjes naar school had
gebracht, sprong ik op mijn fiets richting de markt en
kocht ik zoveel plantjes als ik mee kon nemen.
The Girls are off school every Wednesday afternoon
and  i thought that our small garden, that we totally emptied last year,
could use a fresh boost.
After i brought the Girls to school i jumped on my bike to the
market to buy as much plants i could take.

Dit is puur genieten.
Dit is puur geluk.
Twee uurtjes samen met de Meisjes in de aarde wroeten in de zon.
Ze hun gang laten gaan met stokjes en mini viooltjes.
Ze hebben ieder hun eigen Hortensia waar ze voor mogen zorgen.
De tuin is nog lang niet naar mijn zin, maar een heerlijk
begin is gemaakt!
This is pure enjoying.
This is pure luck.
Two hours of digging in the soil together with the Girls in the sun.
Let them do their thing with little sticks and mini Violets.
They each have their own Hydrangea to take care for.
The Garden doesn't look yet like wish it to be, but we made
a very nice start today!
