Taking a break..see you soon!

Het is tijd.

Tijd voor een pauze.

Om tijd door te brengen met mijn Lief en de Meisjes.

Laptop uit.

Koffer dicht.

Etsy shop dicht.

It's time.

Time for a break.

To spend time with my Love and the Girls.

Laptop off.

Suitcase closed.

Etsy shop closed.

De laatste maanden waren best druk en vol.

En heftig.

Nu ben ik van het soort dat doorgaat met het leven, want het 

leven is te mooi om stil te staan.

Maar een pauze nemen is verstandig.

Ik ga mijn schaarse vrije minuten gebruiken om tot rust te komen,

te spelen en meiden-dingen te doen met de Meisjes, staren naar groeiende
groenten,  koffie te drinken met mijn Lief en samen na te denken en kletsen
over dingen, projecten af te maken, mijn theekopjes te tellen, te feesten,
boeken te lezen en eindelijk de servieskast eens blauw te verven...
en om niks te doen.
The last few months were pretty busy and full.

And heavy.

Well, i'm of the kind that keeps on living because life

is too beautiful to stand still.

But taking a break is wise thing to do.

I'm gonna use my scarce free minutes to take some rest, 
to play and do girl-stuff with the Girls, staring at some growing vegetables, 
drink coffee with my Love and do some thinking and chatting together, finish 
some projects, to count my teacups, to party, to read books and to finally 
paint that kitchen closet blue...

and to do nothing.

Ik ben ongeveer rond 10 mei weer terug.

Dan gaat de koffer weer open.

Zeker weten dat daar weer héél veel moois uit komt!!

I'll be back around May 10th.

That suitcase will then be open again.

I'm sure it will be filled with a lot of prettiness!!

Je hebt nodig;

een grote metalen ring*
repen stof
nep bloemen
schaar
wol, garen
(zelfgemaakte) pompons
lintjes en bandjes
kleine dingen die je kunt hangen...
dikke naald

You need;


A large metal ring*
strips of fabric 
fake flowers
scissors
wool, yarn
(handmade) pompons
trims and ribbons
little things you can hang...
thick needle

*De metalen ring komt van een lamp uit de Kringloop.
Ik haalde de stof eraf, gebruikte het bovenframe al eerder om dit te maken.
De onderring kan ik nu goed gebruiken.
*The metal ring comes from the Thriftstore.
I took of the old fabric, i used the top frame earlier to make this.
The bottom ring is perfect to use now.

Knoop lintjes, bandjes en reepjes stof om de ring.
Hang met stukjes wol allerlei dingen-die-je-kunt-hangen aan de ring.
Gebruik lichte, frisse, felle kleurtjes...
Knot ribbons, trims and strips on the ring.
Hang your things-you-can-hang with yarn on the ring.
Use light, fresh, bright colours...
